Over the years TBS members have written  articles and undertaken research, much of it appearing in our society newsletter “The Herald”.

Towton has inspired some people to Poetry and Prose;  
The Frivolous Quills, a writing group visited our Palm Sunday memorial event, and have let us see the results!
The TBS has an annual  competition for the Towton Arrow. In 2007 the competition was a writing competition, on the subject of   “What Towton means to me”
